PLEASE consider donating ONE DAY of Editing to help complete the film!

Why just one day? Because we only need about 30 days of editing with a Senior Editor so we just need 30 people to each donate just ONE day of editing! ONLY 30 people!!! OR if you cannot afford one edit day maybe your friends or co-workers would like to all go in on ONE Day of Editing! One day of Editing costs $350. That's 7 people each donating $50 each. Or 10 people donating $35 each.

Once we have new Postcards we will be mailing them around the country to Canada and Europe to distribute to rescuers who are already in place, offering to distribute them to local pet supply stores, coffee shops and art house theaters. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PAY THE PRINTER DIRECTLY THAT CAN BE ARRANGED. OR we can give you a receipt from the printer!

POST PRODUCTION UPDATED 5-2007 NEWS

Last year we discovered a technical problem in some of our editing equipment. This problem caused us to lose TWO months of editing time and money. (An external hard drive that contained new editing work and new digital media has crashed and with it all that was on it. This hard drive WAS our back up drive. It was a 200 gig Hard Drive.) Check out our STATUS page for further details on the crash.

We also met with a consultant who gave us some wonderful input on the film. One such peice of advice was to hire a Senior Film Editor to get to Picture Lock and BEFORE sound mixing. The problem for FGH is that a Senior Editor is no less than $350 a DAY. One month will cost over $10,000.

After we lock picture with our Senior Film Editor sound mixing begins, approximate cost $2000-5000.

FGH is hoping to raise $25,000-30,000 to complete the editing AND prepare press kits to entice distributors. Thank you for assisting FGH on this completing this important film. And thank you to some very special donators. We are ALMOST there! Our major hurdle was buying the DV DECK! Which we NOW have! So please consider donating an "Edit Day"

The objectives of the film are to:

- Raise awareness among pet owners;
- Create or work with a foundation for people interested in donating to the various animal charities;
- Create a series of companion documentaries for community outreach and education;
- Unite rescue groups/create partnerships with local and national animal groups – provide an opportunity for synergy on this issue;
- Offer solutions and alternatives to the problem of animal overpopulation.
