BULLET back home again! ADOPTED

2-2006 UPDATE

I took a couple of pics of BULLET and he was MUCH more frisky when I took him out. He also is reported EATING like PIG, which is good, he was chunky when he was injured and trimmed downed no DOUBT because eating was probably painful. or at LEAST uncomfortable.

see red update notes below.

On Nov 30th 2005

Bullet was struck by a car, actually Bullet ran directly into the car hitting full throttle with his face and head.

He had just dodged being struck by an oncoming police car and hit the car directly behind.

He broke his jaw. And had several lacerations. There is a wire sticking out of the bottom of his chin. In the bottom photo you can see the drain they had to put in that stuck out of the right side of his mouth.

The left side of this head was struck but the hood and bumper (putting a dent in the car) he was bleeding from his eye.

We heard from a passer by (who helped load him into the transport car to the hospital) that he was owned by an older gentlemen, but he was an acquaintence, and did not know his name, they merely said hello in the morning, but that is how we came to find out BULLETs name.

Affordable Animal Hospital in Torrance (see copies of his treatment records and bill below) allowed me to bring him in, and a good samaritian donated 200 dollars, (100 of which is a loan and needs to be reimbursed) and even though they needed HALF of the estimate of 1000 to treat him, we adjusted what was medically necessary to check him out and keep him from suffering pain. And they began treatment were only a 200 dollar deposit. Now we need help with the balance, nearly $400 (see below)

They had to repair his fractured jaw.

Yesterday, December 5, 2005 we had to move Bullet to a medical boarding next door, Jansens Animal Hospital. Where he is being monitored and medicated for his injuries and for pain.

We desperately need donations for his medical boarding which is $30.00 a day. (see invoice below) We expect him to need to be there for two weeks to heal. Then we need to find a foster for him.

We are looking for his owner/guardian, but so far all leads have been deadends. After two weeks we will try to get him into a low cost boarding unless we can find him a foster home. He is docile, but he has also been medicated.

1-2006

He was moved to Laguna Vista Small Animal Hosp for boarding.

To donate by credit card please use PAY PAL. Click here. Please note that payment is for BULLET.

To donate by check please make check payable to:

AFFORDABLE Animal Hospital

and mail to us (we will collect the checks and take them into the hospital so that the Hospital does not have to field our checks and keep track, it is less confusing for them and helps us to better able to keep records.)
